Terms of Use

Welcome to Sohba. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Sohba ("we", "us") governing your use of the Sohba app and services. By creating an account or using Sohba, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who can use Sohba

You must be at least 18 years old to use Sohba. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide, including your date of birth, is accurate.

You may have only one account, and you may not share your account or password with anyone else. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

2. What Sohba is for

Sohba exists to help gamers find teammates to play with. It is not a dating service and not a platform for promoting products, services, or other accounts.

3. Community rules

You agree that you will not:

Harass, threaten, demean, or abuse other users, or use slurs or hate speech.
Use Sohba for dating, sexual content, or solicitation of any kind.
Advertise, spam, or promote third-party products, services, or accounts.
Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation.
Ask other users for passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information, or attempt to scam or defraud anyone.
Post content that is illegal, infringes the rights of others, or contains malware or harmful code.
Attempt to access other users’ accounts, probe or disrupt our systems, or scrape data from the service.

We may remove content, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without warning, at our sole discretion.

4. Your content

You own the content you create on Sohba (your profile, photo, bio, and messages). By posting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service, for example showing your profile to potential teammates.

You are responsible for the content you post. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.

5. Safety and reporting

We provide blocking and reporting tools, and we review every report. However, we do not conduct background checks on users and cannot guarantee the conduct of any user. Use good judgment: keep conversations in the app, and never share passwords or payment information.

If you believe someone poses a risk of harm, contact your local authorities first, then report the user to us.

6. Termination

You can stop using Sohba and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or other users, or if we discontinue the service.

7. Disclaimers

Sohba is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that you will find compatible teammates.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sohba will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, opportunity, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the service, including interactions or disputes between users.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Sohba evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
